I am very excited and extremely proud of everyone on the team. The Voice New Testament shipped this past week and it looks (and more importantly it reads) fantastic. Wow.
I appreciate Chris Seay's original vision, the team's execution and especially Frank Couch's diligence, patience, skill and overall management of the project. I know it will bring people to Christ and bring people to God's word in a fresh and new way.
For those of you who don't know, the Voice is a new Bible translation. It began as a creative idea from Chris Seay and it brings the best of many artistic and scholar worlds together to create a thoroughly readable and interesting read through Holy Scriptures. It's not a paraphrase, but a true translation that richly captures the orignal author's "voice". The writers have also included additional helpful notes or sidebars that puts you, the reader, into the scene and experience of the New Testament and the story of Christ.
If you would like a review copy for a review, please let me know. I will send the first 100 of you a free copy and look forward to your Blog's review.

I have been attempting to submit request on the new release site but the text error message appears (after 10-12 attempts at the different text pictures I know its not me!) can’t miss that many times.. Would love to see the Voice become a big success in CT, it is very needed.

I’m not sure if I made the top 100, but I would love to be able to read this and review it on the blog I help run for the International Justice Mission chapter at Southeastern seminary. Since I am a student I’m not sure when I’ll be able to purchase a copy, but I have been a huge fan of Brian McLaren as well as Chris Seay and many of the other contributors to this groundbreaking work. I hope God blesses the reading of His word to a new generation who are awestruck at His beauty!
I would love to review it, going to be doing a church plant soon and would possibly use it in public readings. Thank you.
I was told by a friend to check this out. So, I have! Hoping I made to top 100 to receive a free copy of The Voice New Testament. I’d be delighted to review it and post about it on my blog site. Thanks, Deanna

I would love the opportunity to review The Voice New Testament. Please let me know what I need to do.
I would love to review a copy too!
If it is too late to get a review copy, where can I purchase?? I look forward to exploring!
I work in a Christian Bookstore (large chain)… I check in all the merchandise in the store, so I get to see everything first. While this can be deadly to my wallet, lol, I am blessed to get to see so many wonderful books & Bibles. The one I am truly excited about is The Voice. This is a GREAT translation! I’ve only been able to skim through on a couple of my breaks, but what I have read has ignited a new excitement for re-reading the Word. I would love to receive a complimentary/preview copy, if I am fortunate enough; however, it WILL be my first purchase once I can set aside the money if I cannot get the preview offer. I am looking forward to selling this translation to my customers. I highly recommend it to everyone that would like to curl up and enjoy just reading God’s word and soaking it in – highly readable, and easier to ‘picture’/remember in your mind. A great accomplishment.
I would love to review The Voice.
Thank you for finding new ways to bring Scripture to life.
I would love to review a copy of The Voice. Thank you.
I would like to get a copy of the newly released The Voice for review. I don’t have a blog. (I’m not under 30 either. 🙂 and am excited to see this project, having read of it in The Houston Chronicle this morning. I look forward to seeing this text and sharing it with colleagues.
Let the Voice be heard.
I would love the opportunity to review this new translation. I met Chris Seay at Q|Atlanta and have been looking forward to this ever since.
Hopefully a background in translation, atleast a passion for it anyway might prove to be helpful in the review of this exciting new project. Looking forward to reading whether I recieve the opportunity to review it or not.
I would also like to review this and post a blog about it. Am I one of the first 100?

I would love one! I will talk about it on my blog
i would love a copy. i would love the opportunity to review “the voice”. i will most certainly review it on my blog.
The opportunity to review, moreover discover this text would be great. As a youth I am constantly looking for a way to make the Bible seem less intimidating for the post moderns that surround me. God’s word told as the literary masterpiece that it is, while remaining true to the text sounds like it might just be the answer.
I would be very interested in a review copy of “The Voice”. From what I have read, it sounds like a project akin to the old Jerusalem Bible, brining in scholars and poets to produce a beautiful Bible text.
I run the website http://www.stellarcross.org
I’m a graduating senior at HBU and can say that I have had the privilege of learning Greek from David Capes. His knowledge of the Scripture is amazing and his devotional insight into the text is inspiring! I would greatly appreciate a copy of The Voice.
If available I would love to review the Voice for my space!
I’d love to highlight TheVoice on our site!
I would be very happy to review The Voice NT and post it on my blog at rebutler.blogspot.com and on our book recommendations at http://www.2peace.org/resource.htm
Too late for a review copy? I’d love to give it a whirl!
I’d be interested in reviewing this translation.
Oh no! I missed a free copy by 8 people. I loved the presentation of The Voice while attending the re-create (cre:ate) conference in Franklin early this year. I’m so excited to get a copy of the whole new testament. Thank you for doing this and breathing something new and creative into the Bible!
Hi Wayne,
I’d love a copy of The Voice. Are you still sending out copies? Please let me know.
Thanks.
I would love to read and review The Voice! Is it too late?
I believe that this bible is for the Emergents. I disagree with most of the stuff they say. There has been too much tolerence in the church today, and I am convinced that as more and more so called new translations come forth the Apostate Church is continuing to grow. We must live as Jesus said THE NARROW WAY. People do not need new translations to understand scripture they just need THE HOLY SPIRIT. It’s amazing to me that for 400+ years people used the KJV and had no trouble understanding but all of a sudden people can not understand. My prayer to all is that this so called Voice translation is not the Bible of choice to people, but the true voice of the Spirit they will hear.
Christ’s Love to Us
I’ve read the gospel of John in “the voice” and compared it against the ESV as a literal translation, and at best the voice is a loose paraphrase. It’s not a translation. the amount of additional material that is added that is not in the original text is substantial, and ideas subtly changed. I think that this version of the bible will be the version that the emergent church uses to bolster its “theology”
I would LOVE to receive a free copy for review! Thank you!
I would love to review it.
Hi Wayne,
If you are still sending out review copies, I’d love to receive one. Thanks!
I am initially very impressed by what I see on http://www.hearthevoice.com. I would love to examine and review this new translation. I think it might be great for my students at Oklahoma Christian University.
I would be interested in reviewing a copy of this translation. I am a music minister at a Methodist church, and try to relate the music to Scripture. I have a blog that covers many religious topics. The project certainly looks interesting…
