Award Winning Products


Like most writers and publishers I enjoy product creation. One way to measure how well we’ve put something together is sales – let’s face it until a real customer decides to pull her hard-earned money out of her purse (or her Visa/Mastercard) and actually buy something all our efforts are just good ideas. Another way to measure our success is industry awards.

We’ve been fortunate this week to win two awards for two different products:

“The Word of Promise: New Testament Audio Bible” (Thomas Nelson)

has won the prestigious MarCom award’s highest (Platinum) honor. MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. Our Director, JoBe Cerny entered the product and we’re delighted with the designation.

“The Voice of Acts: The Dust Off Their Feet: Lessons from the First Church (Voice)” (Chris Seay)

has just won 2007 Outstanding Book Cover Design (in the Bible category) as presented by the Evangelical Christian Publisher’s Association. Scott Lee Designs did the cover for us and this award represents a number of judging factors based on research with customers and what they feel represents an excellent cover.

We all work very hard to deliver great products to the market and I’m very proud of my team and their tremendous efforts.
